With a newfound sense of purpose, Alexander enrolled in the premier programs in assistive technology, where he studied the latest advancements in the field and learned how to design and implement assistive technology solutions for individuals with disabilities. In time, Alexander became a protege of Swedish ergonomics pioneer Bengt Engstrom, who is dedicated to using human factors and performance ergonomics to transform the way individuals experience the world. After completing his program, Alexander secured a job as a Rehabilitation Engineer in Maryland and an Assistive Technology Professional in Texas, where he has been working for the past several years.


Alexander’s commitment to his clients and his expertise in assistive technology quickly earned him a reputation as a top professional in the field. He was known for his compassionate and patient approach, always taking the time to listen to his client’s needs and working to find the best solution for them. He became a sought-after speaker, and he was frequently invited to give presentations on assistive technology at conferences and workshops.
